Content Marketer
Job Overview
The Content Marketer is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality, and conversion-focused content that supports the company’s marketing and communication objectives. This role involves researching industry trends, competitor content, and audience needs to produce impactful content across multiple digital platforms. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, follow structured approval processes, and ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices, brand guidelines, and Google’s latest content standards.Job Description
- Research viral, trending, and competitor content using Google search operators and industry tools relevant to the company’s niche
- Write versatile content including blogs, website content, technical articles, research papers, guides, promotional emails, and advertisements
- Develop content related to cable, TV, and associated technologies in a clear and user-friendly manner
- Create SEO-optimized and social media–friendly content tailored to different publishing platforms
- Adapt writing style based on platform requirements and revise content until final approval is obtained
- Apply strong understanding of content marketing strategies, user funnels, and buyer personas
- Conduct keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
- Coordinate with team members and manage content through multiple levels of review and approval
- Proofread and edit content to ensure compliance with Google Helpful Content Update (HCU), E-E-A-T principles, partner brand guidelines, and Google best practices
- Write content for websites, blogs, social media channels, advertisements, and email outreach campaigns
- Perform online marketing research to support content planning and optimization
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adopt new marketing tools, trends, and technologies
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience with a reputable organization
- 3 years of experience with a reputable firm, preferably with international exposure (Preferred)
