Meet Waleed Yousaf.
Waleed Yousaf has a very special place in ibex.'s heart. And we are so proud of how far he has come.
His journey dates back to the (prehistoric) time when ibex. Pakistan (formerly known as TRG Pakistan) was still trying to build a name in the world of customer support. He began his career in the MIS (Management Information Systems) department.
From there on, his career rose to levels even he could have never imagined.
It was hard work, no doubt. And efforts and dedication. But Waleed steadily and zealously worked his way up the corporate ladder.
He has been part of the ibex. fam since almost 20 years now. During this time, his experience (and growth) has been remarkably diverse. He has worked across multiple departments, including MIS, Business Development, Project Management, and Finance.
While working in the Finance department, he led a team of GMTs and worked closely with the technology-specialized team to develop accounts receivable and payable systems for TRG's portfolio companies. These systems were later integrated with Great Plains (now known as Microsoft Dynamics GP), contributing to more smooth-running financial operations.
Waleed was also responsible for managing key support functions, including Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Workforce Management (WFM) for domestic operations.
Today Waleed has successfully become the Director Operations of ibex. Pakistan. He oversees all offshore and outsourcing work being carried out from Pakistan, supporting both internal and global clients.
His diverse career path reflects the kind of environment ibex. Fosters - one that encourages growth, cross-functional exposure, and long-term success.
When asked about what has kept him connected to the organization for so many years, Waleed points to a few key factors: strong leadership, an encouraging work environment, a shared passion for providing excellent service, and an overall rewarding professional experience.
His contributions have consistently been recognized. Over the years, he has received multiple accolades, including the Star Performer Award, the Service Excellence Award, and he was even given the Department of the Year Award (twice!).
One of the proudest moments in his career, he says, was when the AT&T program won the Bronze Award consecutively for B2B (business-to-business) sales. Today, the team continues to aim higher, with their sights set on achieving the Silver Award.
Waleed also takes immense pride in being part of ibex.'s journey that started out with just 40 individuals and has now grown into a global organization with over 15,000 employees.
His story is one of the many that continues to be told as a testament that with the right people and mindset - the sky is the limit!
