Meet Imran Ata.
He joined ibex. Pakistan (previously known as the TRG Group) way back in 2007 as a customer service executive. He was part of the very first batch for one of our clients.
At just 23 and with an Economics Degree in hand, Imran became part of our small TRG family. This was his fourth job, with around 2.5 years of media and administration experience on-hand.
So, when he first came here, everything was so new to him. Adjusting in such a fast-paced environment. Learning the ropes of his new role. But this didn’t stop Imran from proving himself.
Within just two months of joining, he was promoted to Team Lead. Three months later, he was already clearing an internal assessment and being promoted to Supervisor. In just a few months since he started out at ibex. Pakistan, Imran was managing a team of 20 agents.
It was only a matter of time until he progressed to the role of Lead Supervisor. In this position, he was responsible for managing multiple teams simultaneously, structuring them into groups, and ensuring that everyone and everything was going smoothly.
Imran was a pioneer member of one of our Pakistan operation’s leading campaigns. Within just two months, he was promoted to Team Lead, and in the following three months,
Imran had always been focused on growing quickly in his career, and this drive was evident when got promoted to Assistant Manager – Outbound within a year of employment at ibex.
Alongside his promotions, he also gained diverse experiences across multiple departments, including sales and marketing, operations IT and finance.
Imran Ata’s journey remains a strong example of the career growth opportunities that exist within ibex. Pakistan for those who are willing to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
Imran attributes his growth to the support and guidance he consistently received from his colleagues and managers. According to him, having the right environment plays a significant role in growing in one’s career.
He also says that his early time at ibex. has had the most lasting impact, despite achieving so much throughout the years. For him, the most defining moment was his promotion to Team Lead, especially at a time when only a limited number of individuals were given that opportunity.
Beyond his professional achievements, Imran has also been an active contributor to employee engagement initiatives. He has participated in and organized various events at ibex.. For example, the Telenor RnR activities, Red Club events, annual employee days, and sporting events such as cricket and football.
For Imran, a key factor behind success is simple:
“Enjoy what you do and stay genuinely invested in your work.”
His advice to those starting their careers is to move forward with confidence and self-belief, no matter where they are in their journey. He also emphasizes the importance of trusting oneself and staying focused on our goals no matter what challenges one faces in life.
Looking ahead, his long-term goal is to continue doing what he loves and to keep growing within his field.
As a parting line, Imran summed up his successful career journey by saying:
“Work with honesty, always follow your principles, and eventually success will come to you.”
