Meet Tariq Iqbal.
He has seen ibex. Pakistan (previously called TRG - The Resource Group) shed blood, sweat and tears to stand where it is now.
Having worked here for almost two decades now, Tariq has come a long way. From a Financial Analyst to becoming a Senior Manager in our International Finance department, he has shed blood, sweat and tears right alongside ibex.
Way back in 2005, Tariq joined us with a bucket full of hopes and dreams. Since then, he dedicated his time and efforts to grow and firmly establish his roots here. And in a competitive corporate environment, where job-switching has become so common, Tariq showed us what loyalty looks like.
Starting at an entry-level position, Tariq consistently demonstrated his capabilities and competence. Within a few years, he was promoted into a managerial role, where he effectively led a team and contributed to the organization's financial operations.
But his journey didn't stop there.
A few years later, he was promoted to Senior Manager. Today, Tariq leads the Accounts Payable department for ibex. USA and ibex. PLC (UK), overseeing financial operations across the USA, UK, and Europe.
His role involves managing operations across these multiple regions while navigating time zone differences, communication challenges, and coordination across teams.
But for Tariq, these challenges have never been barriers. He continues to deliver on his goals with consistency and efficiency.
Reflecting on his journey, Tariq shares:
"I have been affiliated with ibex. for over more than two decades, and I'm proud to say that the company has given me a window of opportunities to groom both my interpersonal and professional skills."
He also says that having a strong team environment and good leadership encouraged him to stay committed and consistent. Furthermore, he also believes that recognition and appreciation from upper management played a key role in keeping him motivated and driven.
He also highlights the work environment as one of the key reasons behind his long-term association with the company:
"I truly value the friendly and professional environment at ibex. Pakistan. There is integrity among employees, and most importantly, everyone respects each other. This open and sociable culture is what has kept me loyal to the company for so many years."
At the end of the interview, Tariq shared that he would always recommend ibex. Pakistan to others. Not just because the company values its people, but because it also instills values such as integrity, excellence, respect, and honesty.
His journey is a strong example of what consistency, dedication, and the right environment can lead to over time.
